The news includes photos from the closed presentation of Chery for dealers – the event presented new cars for the Russian market, they will go on sale in 2024.
The novelty will be introduced as part of the Chery NEV, which will be launched next year. The first car within the Chery NEV brand will be the Chery eQ7. It is a mid-size crossover running solely on electricity.
The car retains the LFS (Lightweight Frame Structure) platform, aluminum body and basic rear-wheel drive. At the same time Chery eQ7 shines with new head optics and bumpers, as well as the model got different wheels (18- or 19-inch). Compared to the eQ5, the length has grown by 45 mm to 4675 mm, height has increased by 5 mm to 1660 mm. Width and wheelbase are the same – 1910 and 2830 mm respectively. In general, the appearance of the electric crossover now resembles the “traditional” Jetour Dashing available in Russia (Jetour brand belongs to Chery), while Chery eQ5 resembled the models of Lynk & Co brand (it is owned by Geely Holding).
