If in Europe for the same car is asked more than 56 thousand euros, the price in China starts from 32 thousand dollars
Joint venture FAW-Volkswagen has officially brought to the PRC market spacious liftback ID. 7 VIZZION – it is presented as an electric substitute for the Volkswagen Passat.
In China, the car in the basic single-engine version is priced at 32 thousand dollars – it was almost twice as cheap as in Germany (from 56.9 thousand euros). Such a low price in China is partly due to a very large variety in the local market. For example, for 37.5 thousand dollars in China you can already buy a crossover Tesla Model Y, and for 35.1 thousand dollars you can buy a 7-seat crossover BYD Tang EV.
The liftback is still on the market in a single-engine version with 204 hp and a range of 642 km (the capacity of the traction battery is 84.8 kWh). There will also be an all-wheel drive version with a slightly lower range of 570 km.
The car gets various driver assistance systems (such as auto braking and parking assist), a projection screen with augmented reality support, a large panoramic roof, a Harman Kardon sound system with 16 speakers, a digital dashboard and a 15-inch 2K resolution screen on the front.
