In late 2023, Geely has unveiled its new Geely Galaxy E8 electric car. In general, it is a conventional full-size car built on the basis of the SEA platform, which is used, for example, by the Chinese electric car Zeekr 001. Already in the basic configuration, the car boasts an electric motor of 272 hp mounted on the rear axle. According to the passport data, the stock of batteries should be enough for almost 550 km of run, but the top configuration uses an electric motor with a capacity of more than 400 hp, with a range of more than 660 km.
But this is not the main thing. The developer installs in its cars a 45-inch 8K-display, placed in the full length of the panel. The screen is multifunctional, including the ability to play computer games for one or two passengers with wireless connection of game manipulators.
Geely notes that other similar cars may use multiple high-resolution screens, but the 45-inch one is only in the Galaxy E8. If you connect an additional manipulator and launch games for two participants, the screen will automatically divide into 2 game zones. This is convenient and allows you to get a little distraction from the road and relax in the hustle and bustle of the city.
